Basic Info BioOn Live journal I go by the name Don which is a derivative of my last name and also happened to be my nickname all through high school. The phrase is don is good comes from two different places. Firstly it's a slogan for a ham company and when my high school classmates discovered it they decided it needed to be my catch phrase. So whenever I did something they approved of they would say 'is don is good' and it just stuck. It's really weird the things that stay with you after high school.
I like the TV shows Veronica Mars, One Tree Hill, Moonlight, Gilmore Girls, The OC, Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Bones, The Simpsons, Gossip Girl, and Charmed.
I like the books The Secret Garden, Black Beauty, The Ranger Apprentice Series, The Inheritance Cycle, Maximum Ride, Seven Ancient Wonders, Six Sacred Stones, Hell Island, Contest, A Series of Unfortunate Events and the Harry Potter series.
The music I like is really anything with a good beat but some of my favourites include Switchfoot, Bethany Joy Lenz, The Sweet, ABBA, Stacey Orrico, Aly and AJ, Blue Merle, Kelly Clarkson, Byran Greenburg, Charlie Mars, Damone, The Darkness, Five for Fighting, The Fray, Gareth Gates, Gavin DeGraw, John Mayer, Human Nature (Motown hits not there old stuff), Jimmy Eat World, Kat Alexa, Vanessa Carlton, Vanessa Amorosi, Letters to Cleo, McFly, Nickleback, NOFX, P.O.D., Pink!, Sheryl Crow, Junior Senior, Snow Patrol, Something Happens, Stereophonics, Steriogram, The Streets, Sum 41, Tegan and Sara, Train, Van Morrison, Weird Al, The Wreckers, Michelle Branch, Blackilicious, and Queen.
Other than that I'm a uni student at Southern Cross University Lismore. I'm studying to be a primary school teacher. I like to walk, read, and write. I mainly read Veronica Mars fan fiction but I do read others as well. The only fan fiction I flat out refuse to read is Harry Potter and that's because I really really really really don't want to believe that there is someone out there that can do a better job than JK Rowling because as much as I hated those last books they were still brilliantly written. So that's my reason, sorry if it offends.
